EHMA has been collaborating with the Glion Institute of Higher Education for many years since Dario dell'Antonia, the late Honorary President of the Association, had the idea to set up an annual EHMA award to particularly deserving students. The Glion award was renamed in honour of the late EHMA founder and first President of the Association, Nadio Benedetti, and is now recognized as the "EHMA Nadio Benedetti Award". |

The "Glion Graduation Ceremony", which took place on December 11th 2009 in La Tour-de-Trême (Switzerland), has gathered not more than 400 guests, amongst 160 students and their families. Students from 80 different nationalities have been awarded on that special day their diploma in Business Administration and Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Finance and Revenue Management, Marketing, Sport Marketing and Event Management. The EHMA award has been given to Marcello Stroem who has shown high levels of scholarship, attitude, dedication, and participation. The prize has been presented to the student by Mr. Bettex, General Manager of the Best Western Eurotel Riviera in Montreux, as featured in the picture. |
